Mannifera Farm is a family owned farm in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, Australia, near the historic town of Braidwood. We produce mohair which is a fibre from the angora goat. Fibre arts and handcrafts have been a part of life, with spinning a creative and relaxing hobby. Growing the fibre has been a joy - to raise and manage the goats, getting to know them and looking after their needs, while they grow beautiful fibre. We are very pleased to be able to share the fibre with other spinners and handcraft enthusiasts.

Mannifera Farm is managed using regenerative agricultural practices including the use of Biodynamic preps. We have an ethos to look after the land we have custodianship over, managing the water and plants to ensure a functional ecological landscape. A recent Ecological Outcomes Verification (EOV) monitoring program showed upwards of 26 different plants found in the sample area indicating a healthy and varied pasture. The goats are managed using a rotational grazing regime to ensure optimum pasture recovery between grazing periods and have regular access to forage in a forested area.

Nolani and Peter are the farmers,Caretakers of land and sheer loving energy behind the Mannifera farm.

Nolani had had a dream of owning land her whole life and originally wanted a free range chook farm, but after relocating to Braidwood from Canberra she was so inspired by the to have a Goat fibre business to fulfil her life long love of spinning and knitting.
